Our diffuser silencer works by sharing the available pressure drop between the valve and the diffuser in a way that optimises the flow capacity, pressure loss and noise generation.
We can choose the correct hole sizing and spacing will enable the optimum noise reduction and pressure drop. as has been proven in thousands of silencer installations since our business began over 35 years ago.
We will manufacture a casing for the silencer to either a pressure vessel code such as ASME VIII, or a piping code such as ASME B31.3 so that we installed the equipment becomes part of the piping.
Where space is restricted, or where special concerns arise we will examine the flow through our diffuser using Computerised Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which enable us to check the flow characteristics, flow impingements, as well as confirming the pressure loss, thereby delivering a low cost, low noise solution that avoids the expense of control valves with quiet trims, or the problems associated with metallic diffusing elements.
Our diffuser silencers have no replaceable parts, there is zero maintenance and they are a true a fit and forget solution.
